PSE is pleased to announce the 2021 Virtual Advanced Process Modelling Forum (APMF) on 13-15 April 2021. As part of the Forum we will hold a virtual academic poster session for which we are now calling for submissions.
The event is focused on digital design practice that involves using high-fidelity mechanistic models, integrated with experimental data where necessary, to optimize process designs, manage technology risk and accelerate innovation. It also features intelligent digital operations applications, where high-fidelity models are applied on operation plants in combination with plant data for monitoring, soft-sensing, optimization and advanced process control.
The Forum is an excellent opportunity to have your work seen by key industry decision makers in R&D and engineering departments of large process industry organisations, as well as to meet potential employers.
If you would like to submit a poster, please submit here. The research presented in the poster should make substantial use of gPROMS based modelling (using any gPROMS family product) in order to achieve the results described.
The closing date for submissions is 19 March 2021. We will advise you if your poster has been accepted within one week of the close date. The 2019 poster presentations can be viewed here.
- Posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference. In addition, there will be a dedicated poster session before lunch on either 13, 14 or 15 April (TBA).
- One author from each accepted submission will receive a 50% discount on the standard academic entrance fee for the Forum main conference.
The author of the best poster submitted will be given a free entrance pass to the Forum and may also be given a speaker slot depending on agenda availability.
We encourage you to submit a poster if your work meets the criteria above and look forward to seeing you virtually at the Forum.
