PATH – train the trainer

PATH – train the trainer event

PATH stands for the Process systems engineering Academic Teaching Highway. PATH is an initiative to help improve the skills and knowledge with respect to process modelling in chemical engineering satisfying the needs from industry and academia. As part of PATH slides, hands-on session (computer lab exercises) and home assignments are provided. In this train the trainer event, you will learn the basics of the software as well as how to use the PATH material, where you can find the material, support, suggestions and tools available under the PATH initiative.

Who should attend

The event is meant for professors, teachers, teaching assistants and teaching support staff that intend to make use of the PATH material.

Date & Time

Monday Aug 20th – Introduction into gPROMS and custom modelling
Tuesday Aug 21st – Custom modelling part 2
Wednesday Aug 22nd – Flowsheeting in gPROMS
Thursday Aug 23rd – Other capabilities, PATH materials, support, suggestions and tools available for teaching

Time: 9:00 – 17:00 (all days), Lunch included.

Training materials will be provided. Please note: You must bring your laptop for the sessions.
