ModelEnterprise Training Course - An introduction to ModelEnterprise®
Audience
This is a two-day introductory training course, aimed at engineers and operations managers who wish to familiarise themselves with the ModelEnterprise system for multipurpose plant planning, scheduling and design.
Content
Through a combination of small-group tutoring and hands-on problem solving sessions you will:
- Learn about the facilities provided by ModelEnterprise in general
- Learn how to use ModelEnterprise to construct representations of multiple product processes (especially for batch and semicontinuous plants)
- Pose and solve planning, scheduling and design problems
- Acquire a basic understanding of the underlying solution methods to the extent that is necessary for making efficient use of the package
Topics covered include:
- Modelling of multipurpose plant process recipes
- Modelling of multipurpose plant resource utilisation
- Posing and solving planning, scheduling and design problems
- Solving difficult problems and obtaining help
The course assumes a basic understanding of process operations in multipurpose plants and simple computer skills.
