Venue

This year is the 10th anniversary of the formation of Process Systems Enterprise, and the Annual Meeting promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Reception of the Cumberland Hotel

The meeting will be held in London on 17–19 April in the Ocean Room of The Cumberland Hotel at Marble Arch in central London (17–18 April) and at venues in and near PSE's riverside offices in Hammersmith (seminars and workshops on 19 April).

The Cumberland is situated at the top of Park Lane, one of London's most upmarket districts and is two minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station giving easy access to and from major airports.

The Ocean Room is the largest of the hotel's 26 function rooms, with a 4.5 metre plasma screen and high-quality AV system.

* Academics from bona-fide academic institutions may attend this event at a 50% reduction on the listed prices.

The Annual Meeting registration fee includes an informal drinks reception for early arrivers on the evening of Monday, 24 April, refreshments and lunch during the meeting, and the PSE 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner at The Roof Gardens (below) on the Tuesday evening.

Hotel reservations

This year we have made a booking for rooms with The Cumberland and its sister hotel The Thistle Marble Arch. They are keeping a limited number of rooms available at a special delegate rate only available to delegates attending the PSE Annual Meeting. Please book early to avoid disappointment using the forms listed below and make sure that you mention that you are attending the PSE meeting.

Travel information

Heathrow
By tube: The cheapest and most reliable method of travelling to and from Heathrow Airport to Central London is by the London Underground tube service. Take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park, change to the Waterloo Line to Bond Street and the Central Line to Marble Arch

By taxi: Heathrow Airport by London black taxi will take about 40 minutes and will cost approximately £50.

By train: The Heathrow Express departs every 15 minutes from Paddington Station and claims to be the fastest and most convenient method of transport between central London and Heathrow. Take the Circle line to Queensway and then the Central line to Marble Arch.

Gatwick
By train: The cheapest, fastest and most reliable form of transport is the Gatwick Express which departs every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes. A standard single journey costs £12. At Victoria take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus and then change onto the Central line to Marble Arch.

By taxi: Black taxis are normally easily available but the journey can take over an hour on a good day and will cost at least £70.
