The 12th gPROMS Annual Meeting will be held in London from 19 to 23 April 2010.

The PSE Annual Meeting is an exclusive three-day event where process industry business and technology managers and modelling personnel gather to exchange experience and know-how in the application of high-fidelity predictive modelling to industrial design and operational challenges.

Who should attend?

The event will be of use to anyone with an interest in the application of state-of-the-art model-based engineering techniques to accelerate process and product innovation, improve process and equipment designs, optimise operations, quantify and manage technology risk and integrate the R&D and Engineering functions within their organisation.

It is open to existing AND prospective users of PSE's gPROMS software and Consulting services.

Programme

The provisional agenda includes presentations from industry-leading companies such as Procter & Gamble, Shell, Repsol, Sulzer Chemtech, PURAC, Süd-Chemie and Friesland Campina. PSE will also present the latest developments in the gPROMS modelling platform and software family, including gSAFT advanced thermodynamics.

In addition to the formal presentations, we will hold specialist seminars covering exciting new developments in:

  • High-fidelity fuel cell, stack and system modelling, showcasing PSE's new Advanced Model Library for Fuel Cells
  • Dynamic flare system modelling, showcasing the new gPROMS Flare product for the first time
  • Solids process modelling, providing an early preview of the solids process model library being developed in conjunction with Procter & Gamble.
  • Cost optimisation of terephthalic acid production plants using model-based engineering techniques that have been shown to save millions of dollars per year.

as well as a range of mini-courses aimed at enhancing customer productivity from modelling activities.

We look forward to seeing you there!
