Venue

The different components of the Annual Meeting will be held at various West London venues in the vicinity of PSE's offices.

The drinks reception (Wed 15 September evening) and presentation days (Thur 16 and Fri 17 September) will be held in the Atrium Lounge at the London Hilton Kensington.
The seminars and mini-courses on Wed 15 September will be at a venue near PSE's offices in Hammersmith.
The one-on-one meetings on Tue 14 September will be held at PSE's offices in Hammersmith.

The Hilton London Kensington is situated in the leafy area of Holland Park and only 5 minutes' walk from the new Westfield shopping centre. The hotel has excellent transport links to central London.

Shepherds Bush and Holland Park tube stations are only 5 to 10 minutes' walk away respectively and are on the London Central line. Buses from the Westfield shopping centre bus station run to most areas of London.

The venue is very close to famous London landmarks such as Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate and Kensington Palace and gardens.

* Academics from bona-fide academic institutions may attend this event at a 50% reduction on the listed prices.

Please note that there will be a fee of 5% on all credit card transactions and VAT at 20% will be applied to the total amount.

The Annual Meeting registration fee includes:

the informal drinks reception for early arrivers on the evening of Wednesday 15 September
the Presentation Days on 16 and 17 September

Travel information

Heathrow
By tube: The cheapest and most reliable method of travelling to and from Heathrow Airport to Central London is by the London Underground tube service. Take the Piccadilly Line to South Kensington, change onto the circle line to Notting Hill Gate and then change on to the Central Line going west to Holland Park. *

By taxi: Heathrow Airport by London black taxi will take about 40 minutes and will cost approximately £60.

Gatwick
By train: The cheapest, fastest and most reliable form of transport is the Gatwick Express which departs every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes. A standard single journey costs £16.90 or £28.70 retun. At Victoria take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus, change on to the westbound Central line to Holland Park.*

By taxi: Black taxis are normally easily available but the journey can take over an hour on a good day and will cost at least £80.

* When exiting the tube station at Holland Park, take the exit on to Holland Park Avenue, turn right and walk for 5-10 minutes in a westerly direction. The Hilton Kensington is on the opposite side of the road before you get to Shepherds Bush roundabout.
