Venue

The different components of the Annual Meeting will be held at various West London venues in the vicinity of PSE's offices.

The seminars & workshops (Tue 17 April) will be held at the Avanta Meeting Rooms in One Lyric Square, Hammersmith.
The drinks reception (Tue 17 April evening) and presentation days (Wed 18 and Thurs 19 April) will be held in the Palace Suite, Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington.

The Royal Garden Hotel is situated in the leafy Kensington High Street overlooking Kensington Gardens, the home of Kensington Palace. The West End's theatres are a short cab-ride away (15 minutes), and major cultural attractions such as the Royal Albert Hall and Victoria & Albert Museum just a 10-minute walk.The hotel has excellent transport links to central London.

Kensington High Street tube station is only 2 minutes' walk away and is on the London Circle and District line

The venue is very close to famous London landmarks such as Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, the Albert Hall and Imperial College.

Travel information

Heathrow
By tube: The cheapest and most reliable method of travelling to and from Heathrow Airport to Central London is by the London Underground tube service. Take the Piccadilly Line to Earls Court and change on to the District Line (North, Edgware Road direction) to High Street Kensington.*

Time: 1 hour approximately
Cost: £5.00 approximately

By Heathrow Express: Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station (15 minutes) where you will need to transfer to taxi or tube for the final part of your journey.

Time : 30 minutes approximately
Cost : £16.50 single / £32 return

By taxi: Heathrow Airport by London black taxi will take about 40 minutes and will cost approximately £60.

Gatwick
By train: The cheapest, fastest and most reliable form of transport is the Gatwick Express which departs every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes. A standard single journey costs £16.10 or £23.40 retun. At Victoria take the Circle line to High Street Kensington.*

By taxi: Black taxis are normally easily available but the journey can take over an hour on a good day and will cost at least £80.

* When exiting the tube station at Kensington High Street, the exit will take you into Kensington High Street. Turn right and after about 5 minutes walk, The Royal Garden Hotel is on the opposite side of the road before you get to the park..
