Polymer batch optimisation

"We reduced our polymer batch time by 30%"
– European polymer manufacturer

Following the official opening of PSE Korea in March this year, we are pleased to announce a PSE Advanced Process Modelling seminar, to be held at the Hotel Riviera in Daejeon on 9 September 2008.

At the meeting, in addition to hearing about gPROMS v3.1, a milestone release of the world's leading APM platform, you will hear how advanced process modelling is helping companies to:

accelerate process and product innovation
improve process equipment designs
optimise operations
improve the effectiveness of R&D experimentation
quantify and manage innovation risk
integrate R&D and Engineering

Hear about gPROMS v3.1 and the latest applications in optimisation of design and operations for:

reactors
polymerisation processes
polysilicon production
fuel cells
other complex application areas.

Speakers will include Professor Costas Pantelides, CEO of PSE and Professor at Imperial College London, and Zbigniew Urban, PSE Chief Technical Officer and a pioneer in reaction, crystallisation and polymerisation modelling and the linking of process and CFD models.

The event is open to existing and prospective users of PSE's gPROMS Advanced Process Modelling (APM) software and ModelCare Model-Based Innovation (MBI) services, as well as to personnel and researchers from universities.

We look forward to seeing you there!
