Process Systems Enterprise is pleased to announce the third PSE Japan User Meeting, to be held at the Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama on 11 and 12 September 2007.
The event is open to existing and prospective users of PSE’s gPROMS Advanced Process Modelling (APM) software and ModelCare Model-Based Innovation (MBI) services, as well as to personnel and researchers from universities.
When we initially brought gPROMS to the market 10 years ago, there were just a handful of pioneers of Advanced Process Modelling around the world.
Now the technology is making great strides, with more and more companies systematically turning to high-accuracy predictive modelling every day in order to:
- Accelerate process and product innovation
- Improve process equipment designs
- Optimize operations
- improve the effectiveness of R&D experimentation
- Quantify and manage innovation risk
- Integrate R&D and Engineering
- Improve the effectiveness of R&D experimentation
The meeting programme will include speakers from the Japanese process industries, academia and PSE personnel talking about the latest applications of APM in design optimization and operational enhancement of reactors, polymerization processes, crystallizers, fuel cells and other complex application areas. Speakers will include Professor Costas Pantelides, CEO of PSE and Professor at Imperial College London.
