PSE Japan User Meeting 2006
19—20 September 2006, British Embassy New Hall, Tokyo
Process Systems Enterprise is pleased to announce the second PSE Japan User Meeting, to be held in Tokyo, on 19 and 20 September 2006.
The event is open to both existing and prospective users of PSE’s gPROMS Advanced Process Modelling (APM) software and ModelCare Model-Based Innovation (MBI) services, as well as to personnel and researchers from universities.
PSE is a leader in APM and MBI, technologies that use high-accuracy process models to:
- speed up innovation in development of new processes and products
- improve designs of processing equipment
- enhance existing operations
- improve the effectiveness of R&D experimentation
- bridge the gap between R&D and engineering
- quantify and manage the risk associated with innovation.
The programme will include speakers from the Japanese process industries and PSE personnel talking about the latest developments and applications in these areas. Speakers will include Professor Costas Pantelides, CEO of PSE and Professor at Imperial College London.
Presentations will focus on the application of APM and MBI to areas such as design of new reactors, crystallisers, catalysts, fuel cell systems and complex separation processes.
Japan is PSE’s largest market after the USA, and our customer base already includes major companies such as Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Taiyo Nippon Sanso, Maruzen Petrochemical, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Toshiba Fuel Cell Power Systems and research organisations such as AIST.
For those companies who are not familiar with the emerging technologies of Advanced Process Modelling and Model-Based Innovation, the PSE Japan User Meeting provides a chance to find out more.
