The gPROMS Advanced Model Library for Fixed-Bed Catalytic Reactors (AML:FBCR) is a library of high-fidelity modelling components for modelling of tubular, multitubular and other fixed-bed reactors.
It is used to construct multiscale high-fidelity predictive models capable of representing virtually any fixed-bed reactor configuration and validated with laboratory and/or plant data, to provide accurate information for support of design and operational decisions.
The many benefits of applying high-fidelity models include improved reactor design, improved operations – with operating conditions optimised to maximise catalyst life – and the potential to design, screen and rank catalyst in a realistic "catalyst test bed".

This seminar is aimed at technical management, reaction engineers and R&D specialists from companies designing or operating fixed-bed catalytic reactors.
It demonstrates the industry-leading concepts behind PSE's model-based innovation and engineering approach to reactor design and operation, with reference to typical practical problems.
