PSE Japan User Meeting 2011
Hotel New Grand, Yokohama
6-7 October 2011
Overview
We are pleased to announce the seventh PSE Japan gPROMS User Meeting, to be held at the Hotel New Grand in Yokohama on 6 and 7 October 2011.
The User Meeting is a 1.5 day event for business and technology managers and modelling personnel from across the process industries.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The event is important for anyone with an interest in the application of high-fidelity predictive modelling and next-generation model-based engineering techniques to:
- enhance process design, including scale-up of complex processes
- optimise process operations
- accelerate process and product innovation
- manage new technology risk
- create efficiencies by integrating R&D and process engineering.
It is open to both existing AND prospective users of PSE's gPROMS-based software tools and ModelCare consulting services.
PROGRAMME
The programme will include:
- presentations on crystallisation process design, surface catalytic reaction for novel reactors, fuel cell design and optimal distilllation column and separation system design
- a summary of key presentations from the PSE Annual Meeting held in London in June
- specialist seminars that cover PSE's exciting new developments in model-based engineering and optimisation for the design and operation of: including hands-on sessions for PSE's gSOLIDS and gCRYSTAL products.
- a specialist session on the application of PSE's powerful gFUELCELL modelling environment for fuel cell component and system design optimisation. This will showcase, among other things, new developments for design of fuel cell control schemes using high-fidelity models.
- A workshop on numerical solution techniques to aid productivity for existing gPROMS users.
We look forward to seeing you there!
In the meantime, if you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact the event organiser Yoshiyasu Ishioka at y.ishioka@psenterprise.com.
