General information

Dates

The main meeting dates are Thursday and Friday (half day) October 2 and 3, 2008

There is a welcome cocktail reception from 7 to 9 pm on the evening of Wednesday October 1.

Conference charges

The cost for the conference is $395. This covers all the events listed on the agenda, including evening meals, Broadway show and related transport, but does not cover hotel room charges (see below).

Location

The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Suites on the Hudson in New Jersey.

The hotel is on the New Jersey bank of the Hudson River, near the entrance to the Lincoln tunnel. Click here for the online map.

Please also make all reservations DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOTEL AT 201-617-5600 Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm.

Failing to observe either of these requirements means that your booking will not be counted as part of the group and you will not be offered the PSE room rate (see below).

Rates

When you book, you may be quoted a room rate of $279 under the "Process Systems Enterprise Inc." reservation. PSE is subsidizing the room rates, so the amount you will be charged for the room is $179 per night. you will need to bear any additional costs (room service etc.) not covered by the conference fee above.

Broadway show

The Broadway show that we will be attending on the evening of Thursday October 2 will be In The Heights, a musical about three days in the life of Washington Heights, the vibrant and tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. In the Heights is a Tony Award winning musical with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and adapted from a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes.
