Description of positions
The positions encompass a variety of duties and responsibilities, including the following:
- Execution of ModelCare consulting projects, i.e. using gPROMS® and other PSE products to provide value to customers and prospects, both at PSE offices and client locations.
- Deliver user training and workshops at various locations globally.
- Maintenance and further development of PSE's Process Model Libraries.
- Technical (applications) development to enhance the range of PSE's product content.
- Contribute to consulting knowledge database.
- Present at knowledge transfer events.
- Sales and Marketing support, including prospect visits as well as attendance at trade shows and conferences.
Required skills/experience
- A PhD degree or a minimum of 3 years industrial experience (for candidates with an MSc/MEng degree).
- First-principles modelling experience.
- Expertise in chemical engineering, preferably both from a modelling and experimental perspective is highly desirable.
- Experience with gPROMS®, SPEEDUP®, ACM®, Dymola® or another equation-oriented modelling tool is an advantage.
- Programming (FORTRAN, C, C++) and CFD experience is helpful, but not necessary.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to prioritise scheduled tasks and react to unexpected problems.
- Willing to travel away from the office for up to one week per month on average.
Education Requirements
- A degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Pharmaceutical or Mechanical Engineering.
